OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY:

The objects of the Society are to organise shows annually and generally to foster gardening in the district.

BRIEF HISTORY:

The Society was formed some 84 years ago when interest in gardening was stronger than it is today. However we continue to uphold our aims in this modern world with all its distractions.

We have in the region of 70 members, more would be very welcome.

Whilst members only may exhibit at our shows, the children's classes are open to non members.

Annual membership subscription is £7.00 per person.
