Our 2008 season gets under
way at the end of April/early May, and we would welcome some new players. We
have one team playing every Saturday and Sunday, throughout the season. Most
games start at 2.30pm. We do not play League cricket, so there is plenty of
scope for a wide range of abilities, and the age of our players ranges from
people in their teens, to almost seventy. We are a friendly Club, with a number
of social functions throughout the year. Our ground, which is of good size and
quality, is next to Stelling Minnis school, and we tend to have more home
fixtures than away. So if you fancy playing cricket this summer, please get in
touch. Membership is £20 per annum (£15 if paid before the 31st May) and match
fees are very modest.

July 12th Murston away
July 13th Alkham at home
July 19th Saltwood at home
July 20th Worth II at home
July 26th Challock at home
July 27th Hythe Green away
August 2nd -
Arlott at home at 2.00pm
August 3rd - Sibton Park away ( wrongly stated as at home in the fixture card,
and therefore now probably a 2.00pm start. Suggest players check with the
captain for time and confirmation of venue)
August 9th - Bethersden away
August 10th - East Sutton at home
August 16th - Littlebourne away
August 17th - Betteshanger away
August 23rd - a 6 a side competition at Harbledown starting at 9.30am
August 24th Shepherdswell - away at 1.00pm
August 30th - Saltwood away at 2.00pm
August 31st - Macknade at home at 1.30pm
September 6th - Northdown at home at 1.30pm
September 7th - Northbourne away at 1.30pm
September 13th - Ramsgate Corinthians at home at 1.00pm
September 14th - E.E.M. at home at 1.00pm
September 21st - Elham away at 1.00pm
And that`s the end of another season folks. Presentation evening is yet to be
announced for a date in October. The Annual General Meeting will take place at
The Hopocket on Tuesday 18th November at 8.00pm. "
