At the end of 2008 the two Parishes agreed to work together to take forward the
results of the two parish surveys done and focus on building some sporting &
leisure facilities on land behind the Bossingham
Village Hall bequeathed to the UHPC some years ago.
As such a sub-committee, which I chair, was formed representing both of the
Parishes with a remit to get opinions on what people would like to see built and
provided and then cost, fund raise and implement.
We have had several meetings this year and are planning to issue a questionnaire
to everyone in the Parishes, engage with all the local youth groups, clubs and
school's this summer with a view to getting all the results and going forward to
plan the next phases by the end of 2009.
We plan to use the conventional paper & publicity routes as well as the websites
and social networks. This is an all inclusive project and we are looking to
represent everyone from 6-106.
A dedicated website and blog has just been put up (still content to add) where
we will be sharing the progress and also allowing people to fill in a
questionnaire online.
